Incorrect UPI pin entered too many times
I wanted to make a PhonePe transaction. The moment I enter UPI PIN to make a transaction it says, you have entered an incorrect UPI PIN too many times. Try again after 24 hours, or reset your PIN and try now. Note: This is not your ATM PIN.
I Tried in the Google Pay app also, I received Incorrect UPI PIN entered too many times. Reset PIN and try again, You may need to wait up to 24 hours.
Then solution I found to fix this incorrect UPI PIN entered too many times in PhonePe as follows:
Requirements to solve this error:
- ATM CARD
- ATM PIN
Open PhonPe app. As you can see MyMoney option bottom right-hand side corner. Click on it.
Next Under Payment Methods, Choose Bank Accounts.
If you have multiple bank accounts added in the PhonePe app, You need to click on the RESET BHIM UPI PIN button, of respective bank account for which you are getting Incorrect UPI pin entered too many times error.
While you click on the Reset BHIM UPI PIN button, you are asked to enter Debit Card Details like the last 6 digits of your ATM CARD, VALIDITY details.
Fill in the details and click on the Continue option.
Firstly, you get an OTP. Enter the OTP and ATM PIN.
Secondly Set NEW UPI PIN and again confirm NEW UPI PIN.
As soon as you finish setting up your NEW UPI PIN, you see BHIM UPI PIN Successfully set message.
Thus you can reset your BHIM UPI PIN using your ATM CARD and ATM PIN using this method.
